Ayutthaya Kingdom
Ayutthaya Kingdom, as the origin of ancient Thai civilization, lasted from 1350 to 1767 and ended by Burmese invasion.

During the second Burmese War, almost all the palaces and temples were ruined, and those ruins and damaged Buddha statues are declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.

Due to the combination of the concept "divine right of kings", which was absorbed by 33 rulers of Ayutthaya Kingdom, and the rituals of Brahmanism, tens of thousands of splendid palaces and great temples were built.

Nowadays the vestige that visitors can admire were established around 150 years ago before the city was developed.

The oldest reclining Buddha statue is 42 meters long and 9 meters tall.

BANG PA-IN SUMMER PALACE
